Looking for some help guys.. I did my windows HDR calibration on my 77 inch S90C.. the results were 1280 nits.. however, when I go into the nvidia app, i can't increase the HDR past 800.. does anyone know I could do? Thanks

Rtx 4060 atleast had some performance improvement while the rtx 4060 Ti has little to none.

i feel like people struggle to figure out what card to upgrade to when they already have a current gen or a last gen card. however the real struggle lies for those who are rocking an old gpu or few gens old gpu, idek what’s good or bad at this point and i’m rocking a 1650s💀💀

I'm running a r7 5800x3d. I just moved my whole case to a brand new case with new AIO cooler. There was a problem though. My CPU was overheating with 360mm AIO comparing the old one 240mm AIO. After a few hours, I noticed that my bios settings were reset. So, I undervolted my CPU with the same values again. Now it's running at 65 °C under full load, it was running 90 °C You NEED undervolting if you have the beast :D

I have a 4060. I game at 4k, record at 4k and upload to UA-cam in 4k.

How would this card go with R5 5600x? Im seeing alot of bottleneck but it’s all i can afford atm?

At least in my opinion the 7900xt can run almost any story game 1440p 60-100 fps which is all I need I don’t care for 4k and pvp games 144+ I have 144 hertz 1440p monitor so this gpu could do anything I ever would need it to I mainly play story games

Honestly ive been having the worst intermittent issues with AMD so im not sure what to think anymore

every time I think about switching to AMD, I come across another horror story about the experience and change my mind. I recently just upgraded to a 13600. Idk man, the amount of shilling makes me nervous too. You'd think AMD was the second coming of christ, even though there's so many horror stories. I pretty much never see stories about Intel cpus having massive stability issues and whatnot.

Get the 4070 or 4070 super if you want the most fps for your dolla

7800X3D is simply better and more importantly, more reliable

I’m just getting into these setups not for gaming but for running LLMs. I’ve seen a few builds where the fans are mounted for “air flow” drawing air in through the AIO. IMO this configuration just draws in air that’s been warmed by the radiator. The builder I saw do this later built another PC stating that mounting the radiator in the top position is the most logical, yet in subsequent builds I’ve seen him again mount them vertically drawing hot air into the case. What are your thoughts on this?

Yes, early last year in the UK, this is what I did. I paid the extra £100 for the extra X luck and got a 7900xtx at £889; it was on sale and ihas been an outstanding GPU at the time; 4080 was well over £1200. I would recommend 7900XTX for ref my CPU 5800x3D, dispay 1440, 21:9. I no issue with temp and I max out my visual setting and been an outstanding GPU

in my opinion i prefer consoles since it has controllors with great ergonomics good titles and more. Remember this is just my opinion, i dont think ur a pc eletist.

i tried this Deepcool Mystique 360 AIO on a intel i9 1400K, it did not display the CPU temp correctly. it was way off.... did not like that. i sent it back, not as good as they say. Also the software takes forever to download on a 1gb speed and you cant find the software on the website, had to email support for them to send a link.

I own a rtx 4060 8gb, and im completely happy with it. look bottom line, things are going the software route with video cards.

I purchased this motherboard last year and I've not had any issues. - I lied - I purchased 2 i9's 2 i7's and 1 5' 14th and tested all of them. the i5 was first, no issues, i7 was next and there wasn't any issues. (I honestly regret returning the i7's because one of them's core clocks overclocking were easily 5.7 - 5.5 where with all the issues I had with the i9 to get it cooled properly and undervolting the core clock is around 5.3-5.4) -- yes I know there are more cores but for gaming higher per core speed is so much nicer. If you do the time you won't have any issues but it does take some bios adjustment. For the i9's also keep in mind the recall as there are a decent ammount of bad batches for the 14th gen. IF YOUR cpu is pegging 100C on the intel extreme for "any reason" -- something is wrong. out of all the 14th gen I recommend the i7 for stability and overall just plug and play. I stuck with my i9 as I sent my documentation to intel regarding my indepth troubleshooting steps and images of the process and they fully refunded me, sent me ANOTHER i9 that is the best of the lot and let me KEEP IT for my time spent. All in all Intel support was actually really cool to work with.

First of all, great video and thank you for the great explanations. I do have one question I don't believe was made clear (and if it was, my bad!). You were primarily focused on 5200 and 6000. I'm working with the 7800X3D, so I totally understand those numbers. However, the 7800X3D's recommended settings for 4 sticks are 3600 (not 5200). With that said and if I wanted to use 4 sticks, does that mean I should replaces all references in your video of 5200 with 3600 and 6000 with 4400? You're probably catching on to what I'm saying, but if the recommended number for 4 sticks is 3600, which is 1600 less than 5200 for two sticks), does that mean I should also lower the 6000 by 1600? I'd like to use 4 sticks (more interested in cosmetics) and I don't mind bumping them up a bit (to maybe 4400 instead of 3600), but at the same time, I don't want to assume I can still push for 6000 and blow something up. Hopefully that makes sense.

I know this isn’t about the 7900xtx but the lowest I’ve seen one in the past few days is £780 and the price of the 7900xt is around £690 as of right now I feel like the xtx is the better deal out of the two.

I watched the video to try and figure out which 40 seies gpu I should buy to replace my old 1060 ti which really struggled esp on Hogwarts Legacy so time for an upgrade. I know ideally I'd like to keep it between $500 and $1000 but could be persuaded to spend a couple 100 extra bucks but it'd have to be worth it. I have no idea. I have a 1440p monitor and I don't know what's the best value for my money.
